QUESTION  A (1)  : What are some of the advantage of buying new things instead of fixing old things? Discuss different items and the advantages of buying the items new.

Nowaday, you can get a new thing instantly and easily without think long time to buy it. Mostly, people rather use new stuff than repair their old possessions. Sometimes, we don’t know to repair an item because it’s contain many tiny complicated parts. So, we would toss or throw away the disposable stuff and replace it. Besides that, majority people like to exchange their garget or other things such as old phone to a smart phone, small tv to the plasma tv, old clothes to the new clothes and so on. New brand showed that they are up to date and not ancient and outdate. Moreover, new thing usually have more function compare than the old stuff. For example, the new cell phone is very sophisticated and it’s can facilitate the people doing their work every day. It’s consume GPS to show the way for your destination, Facebook and yahoo messenger to chat and keep in touch with your family and your customers in online business. Furthermore, the companies in Malaysia like SAMSUNG, SONY ERRICSON, SINGER, PANASONIC are provided the modern and smart product in their company. When the products are plentiful automatically the price will low and inexpensively. So, they will more decide to buy that product instead repair it. At 10 years ago, just fewer people have the cell phone and they are almost from rich people. But, now we can see hand phone are used by children and until senior citizens. This is  because, the people afford have more new thing instead recycle the old things.

QUESTIONS  B (1) : Think of a new type of self-service technology. What are benefits of this technology? What are the disadvantages or problems?

For me, ATM machine is a one of the self-service technology could not forget apart another self-service like online catalog, booking service, kiosk service and so on. The benefit of this technology is can push out the money just by using the card. This machine also will give convenient to all persons get money how much we want in a few minute. Furthermore, we can’t waste the time because unnecessary go to the centre bank like BIMB bank, BSN bank, and another bank. We can use ATM machine at the PETRONAS station and…….. close of your home. But, ATM machine also have disadvantages like sometime ATM machine depletion money and it very annoying to all people. Another problem when we use this machine is we can’t identified some question what that system want to complete that service. But, we must to follow the instruction step by step. Moreover, we can’t ask the question to the real persons. This situation are difficult for old persons and for the people first time get ATM machine’s service. The disadvantage from the criminal angle is theft of money. For instance, the people forget to take back their card after get the service then it can often the opportunity to the criminal steal that money. Although, this machine have the many advantage but also have the disadvantage like another self –service machine.
